As kids are not in school, homeless families living in motels need ways to keep them physically and emotionally engaged. We are collecting items that will be entertaining, stimulate imaginations, and keep children physically active. Examples of items in activity packs: jump ropes, frisbees, board games, arts and crafts supplies.
We are seeking donations of such items, whether new or almost new.
Please let us know if you have ideas for items or projects the children can work on.
Churches, Girl Scouts, and individuals stepped up to make 400+ homemade face masks and gave 200+ disposable masks! Masks were distributed to nonprofits serving homeless, veterans, and families in deep poverty. Our community stepped up and, together, helped our neighbors.
